Peer Mentoring is a Win-Win relationship. It offers great benefits for booth the Peer Mentor and the mentees.

We can summarize the benefits of the peer mentoring process under two main headings such as Offering the Opportunities of Increased Academic Achievement and Improved Personal Development; 

Contributions to Academic Achievement
 
For Peer Mentors
Getting familiar with the school from all aspects, becoming aware of the academic development opportunities offered, and establishing close relationships with the academic and administrative personnel.
 
For Mentees
Ensuring school attendance, making the learning process effective and joyful through participation in learning groups, receiving support in order to resolve their problems related with academic achievement.

Briefly, we can underline some Personal Development opportunities offered by the peer mentoring process both to the mentor and the mentees as follows;

For Peer Mentors
Greater feeling of connection, increased self-esteem, improved communication skills, improved problem-solving, goal-setting, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
